Can you think of any more food that could be easily made out of felt? A kitchen needs more than Popsicles, bread, apples, and eggs!

Lilly is developing quite an imagin-ation. She loves to feed her babies and pat their backs. She makes noises like animals and pretends to read to herself. She loves to help me clean and cook. I want to get her a kitchen for her birthday and have been trying to make some felt food to go with it. I think homemade food is so much more charming than plastic food.

Sew Crafty Sat.: Quilt Front

I am super excited to say that I finished a quilt front (awhile ago). I used the crazy 9 patch pattern. Now I know, it is just the beginning. I still have to decide what to do with the back, bind it, and quilt it. But, I like to enjoy the small accomplishments. One step at a time, right?

Wee-One Wednesday: Rough & Tumble

We got this lamb chair from my step dad at my baby shower. It looks adorable in Lilly's room, but she never paid it too much attention. Recently however, it has become one of her favorite things. She loves to wrestle it and bounce on it. This is not what I envisioned she would be doing in this sweet chair (sitting quietly, reading a book), but I now know Lilly has a mind of her own. Just the other day, she told her Grammy that she did not want to wear the dress that I had left out for her to wear and she can often be seen wearing two different shoes. Go figure!

Sew Crafty Saturday: Love Birds

We are having a bridal brunch for my sister, Penny, this Sunday. She is really excited. It is just the bridesmaids and mothers, and it is the first official event of her wedding season. I am so happy for her! I made a new wreath for the front door. She will be welcomed by these two love birds. I hope they make her smile!

Wee-One Wednesday: Time

Do you know how everyone says, "They grow up before you know it" and "Time goes by so fast when you have kids?" It is so true. Lilly has changed sooo much in her 21 months of life. It is almost unbelievable. Here are a few favorite pics of her babyhood. Really, where does the time go?

Misc. Monday: Baby Blanket

Here is a prototype of a baby blanket I made. I think I may start making more. It was very simple and I just used yarn to tie it together. It only took an afternoon to complete and it is the softest flannel.
